Jackson

 Jackson was with me every since he was a puppy. He was found in an abandon house with four other dogs. He was taken to the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue, where he was cleaned up and put on display for adoption. Jackson was then adopted by Erika and I on August 17, 2002, and lived with us in Portage, Michigan until I moved in to Paw Paw. Jackson then lived with Rebecca and I until he died of cancer on October 16th, 2010. Jackson was a great dog, and love to be where I was. He would meet me at the back door every time I came home, even as a puppy. Being greeted by Jackson is what I miss the most. I tried to spoil Mr. Jackson as much as possible, because he deserved it for the special memories that he provided to myself, and all my friends and family. Jackson had so many friends, and learned so much throughout the years, he was a very unique, smart and extremely loyal animal. He will always be loved and missed. Jackson was truly a great animal. It would be impossible to say that he is replaceable, because he was one of a kind. I miss you little buddy RIP "Jack Rabbit"

jackson was the coolest dog in the whole world. He new lots and lots of cool tricks!! He was such a lover boy. He is playing in heaven with Daizy Mae by the rainbow bridge waiting for us. When we can once more be united and cross the rainbow bridge together.

I miss petting your soft coat every day, and hanging out with you in the living room "protecting" you from the firework monsters....lol. It was always interesting to come home and see "what" you and Bert had mussed up in the house, life was quite the adventure. XOXO

Happy Memorial Day Buddy.....We all miss you and remember the great time you gave us.

Our best friend, Buddy was just laid to rest. He looks identical to Mr. Jackson, is the same age, same background, and we treated him the same too. I would swear that they are from the same family. Our Buddy was great with all ages of children, hated water, but loved the outdoors. Wasn't fond of thunder or firework either. We also live in Portage. He was my closest pet and would alway sit on my lap then recline to receive hugs. We will post pictures and memorial to him soon on this site. He will be cremated and wait for us. Goodbye Buddy.

Jackson, you are a proud brother! I wish you could have met Eli, but we both know you have left your scent in our lives :) Everytime I hear Bert break in the back door, or stick her nose in the garbage... I think of you & smile. Hey little buddy...Labor day and Wine and Harvest is coming up I know you love it because you would steal food from the tables even when we were making you go inside. And then the day all of you dogs decided to get out and follow us down town. Miss the days my friend.

Hello Buddy, It has been a long year since your passing. You are still loved and missed. Many changes have happened in my life. Changes that I wish you were here to enjoy as well. I have become a daddy again, first it was you, now you human sister ELI. The house, and several other things that you would have enjoyed being a part of. THANK you for all that you gave me my friend. The times when I was down you were always ther with a tail wag, and a little lick on the cheek. I guess that was your was of say "It ok daddy everything will be ok". You my friend were the best friend a person could ever have had. I miss you terrible. I think of you often and wish I could have changed everything for you to keep you here. I myself have changed a bit with you gone. GOD SPEED little buddy I love you.

Hey Jack Rabbit. Its Christmas time, and we Soooooo miss you running around here. Eli is getting big, and your friend bert is hanging in there. I love you and miss you furry friend. Merry Christmas Jackson.

It is crazy weather this year buddy. I know you would have enjoyed it though. We are thinking of buying some property, and it would have been great to have you running all around chasing the wild animals. Eli is now getting into everything that you used to, it's nice to know your spirit is still alive :)
